Product doesn't work (very well), they are having problems with inconsistent quality from their supplier, the market for optional cosmetic work in economic recessions drops sharply, general dentists rather than knowledgeable orthodontists are screwing up people's treatments, and the key orthodontic market: kids and teenagers cannot be helped with this product. In all, this company is a dud. With current technology, the Invisalign product cannot and will not become a replacement to the ever-effective traditional braces. Their best hope is to try to capture the retainer market for the retention of traditional braces cases... as in this way they can tap into the child and teenage markets effectively (I have one of their retainers myself)... however, I don't see this as being a profitable market to sustain the companies present valuation.
