Why not? P/E a lot lower than other airlines, decent fundamentals, along with great service and a strong foundation for growth. I don't think it can go much lower, but I'm not betting real money on it just yet.

Hi Talmar.

Good call here. I actually had ALK as an Underperform. I'm no longer sure why I did that, probably thinking that Energy prices and the economic downturn would spell bad news for this company. However, I'm changing my call to outperform after you spurred me to take a second look at them. I think that they have less corporate bloat than some of the other airlines, they have consistently positive consumer reviews, and their valuation is compelling. I further believe that my initial reasons for marking them an underperform have lost some ground.
