Great insurance play. We all know what a rip off insurance is so why not try and make some money off it? Allstate has cut some of its risker (i.e. higher possibility of a claim) clients and seems to be taking a more focsued and profitable direction after Katrina. Nice dividend as well.

If so many people feel that insurance is such a rip off.... then cancel your insurance policy and live with out it.... cancel your health insurance policy... Cancel your auto policy... Cancel your homeowner's policy.... your life insurance policy, etc....and then tell me it is a rip-off! .... what has made so many things a "rip off" is fraud....fraud in insurance, fraud in tax returns, fraud in lawsuits, fraud in retail returns, fraud in accounting, and God Forbid... Fraud in the Board Room of Major Corporations!!! We..as a society..have created much of what we suffer today...maybe not personally, but society as a whole.
