The near term future of Alcatel is linked directly to its CEO: As long as Pat Russo remains as CEO, the stock (and company) will continue to languish. She has been a complete failure by anyone's measure and is rated at the top of Jim Cramer's CEO Wall of Shame. As soon as the Board wakes up and smells the coffee and replaces her, the stock will have an immediate bump and should then to begin to realize its potential.
