As an employee with no more insider information than what is available on the street it does not take a genious to see that Applied's move into the Solar Panel market is going to create hugh growth opportunites for the company.

This is assuming, of course, that there is going to be a huge rush to acquire these solar panels. 'Kind of depends on how efficient they are, and whether the sun shines, doesn't it? I don't have any particular data to justify my skepticism, but it is my understanding that solar panels still cost a bundle to install, especially in constructions already built-- and with the housing glut we're seeing, there are plenty of those. My question, then, is, is the demand really there?
