AMD's valuations are very interesting right now a fairly low P/E ratio. It increased its market share in both desktop and mobile processor markets last year at the expense of profits, and this should have a bearing on revenues in the quarters to come. It is still innovating, and appears to be ahead of Intel in the low power and true quad core processors. With Barcelona about to be released in next few months, it would give Intel's core 2 duo a run for its money, especially in the lucrative high end server market. A judgement against Intel in the Dell and Antitrust cases would also help AMD.

Sometimes the PE is low for a reason. The announcement yesterday about missing their quarter simply reaffirms this. This company is a fish flopping around on the dock trying to suck air. If they can't flop themselves back into the water they're dead. Intel is doing everything right at the moment, and AMD is screwing up everything they try to do.
