Are you people insane???!!!!! a PE in the 90's anyone remember the tech bubble? even if AMZN made they're projected 5.84 a share in 2014 (3 years down the road) it would still have a PE in the 30's (and thats saying a lot because they did miss quarterly earnings twice this year by 27 and 42 percent respectively)! and thats just speaking from a fundamental point of view, from a technical point of view it no doubt looks like a head and shoulders aka trend reversal aka you silly lambs who are buying shares are about to lose alot of money!! i think im gonna have to short this one in real life (PS the kindle will never be the Ipad so all you amazon bulls stop acting like ohh the kindles better and cheaper its like comparing a benz to a toyota ill take the benz... so dont come crying to me when your girlfriend leaves you too for the guy in the benz)
Why all the anger?
Anger? shay must be republican. LOL....oh come..that's a joke....(maybe)
lol im not republican, i was just having fun with my pitch guys. i do think amazon is a great company but way to overvalued and dangerous for investors at these prices
Amazon openly acknowledges the Kindle is not the iPad or an iPad killer. Hell their recent ad even highlights buying both kindles is still cheaper than buying an iPad.
I think the question you should ask yourself is do you believe that Amazon will be bigger and more profitable than Walmart in 20 years? I know the answer is yes...
I will take a Ford any day of the week over any so called Benz, fix it myself and the manual if 10,000% cheaper. Can't barely do that with a Benz. Besides Ford is known as best car maker in the world.
I couldn't bring myself to buy it or to sell it. It's an innovative company that the market is rewarding to an almost absurd degree. Do you green-button it and ignore the fact that it's absurdly overpriced? Do you red-button it and ignore the fact that it's an innovative company? I'm not going to be among the people who have made/will make a killing on this stock. So good luck to all of you.
