Once simply an online purveyor of books, Amazon.com has become a marketplace for just about anything you’d want to buy.
Bezos doesn't care about profits. He believes the market of e-commerce is still largely untapped. An open land grab if you will. He’s ready to cut prices as much as possible, add affordable freebies to cultivate customer loyalty + drive sales growth. Then he reinvests it all in more low prices and further expansion, driving additional customer loyalty. It's a cycle of never ending building up and expansion. And he's convinced most investors to stick with him, since the business model will dominate in the long run.I see this going places.
