I entered ANN sort of late -- even though I've been a loyal Ann customer for a long time now. In my opinion, ANN is very very well positioned towards e-commerce growth -- a lot more than Banana Republic (owned by Gap). Why? Because ANN has an amazing consistency in sizing.When I order merchandise remotely, hardly ever do I take it back to the stores to return due to BAD FIT. sizing is amazingly consistent; a Small size collared shirt will fit you just as well as a Small size tunic (note: one is tailored and the other is loose fitting).- Great quality of stuff. - ANN has an excellent mix of modest styles. Not everyone can wear halters and minis. Overall, these attributes make ANN a great choice to order online without trying out the clothes.IMO their Achille's heel? Arrogant and snooty store staff that enjoys giving customers an attitude. At least that's my experience in my neighborhood ANN store.
