As Longhorn Leghorn used to say "snake, I say, snake oil!" This company has great numbers on paper. A very close examination of the company itself begins to smell bad. Before you rate this company positive, please click on the link fellow Fool prospectorgadget has provided.

OK. The company hymn is just corny. That's not what bothers me. I got the wrong link and just noticed this. Try this link out. http://boards.fool.com/Message.asp?mid=23581854&recscode=2What's a firm that only operates in China doing calling itself "American"?How did this firm evolve? (read the link)This company's management is indeed tainted.

Looks like this Brian guy spent major time and went out of his way to talk down AOBO. What has he got to gain from this? I'm a Chinese national and I read the company's Chinese website, not the patched up English translation. I saw the company's product "Shuanhuanlian Powder Injection" on prominent drug store shelves. The companies that AOBO acquired over the years makes real products and makes real profit, in the world's biggest market for what they sell, which they, not some speculator across the Pacific, know the best. That's all I need to know to buy the stock. I don't need some guy who has never set foot on Chinese soil passing judgment on a good Chinese company. BTW, let me give you a lesson about making money in China - your connection in the government (what they call "backstage" over there) is much more important than which auditor you use. Please don't be so naive as to say the company's a scam if one of its board directors was a former governor of the province where the company is located. If you are a stickler to these "Western rules", China is just not for you. I would be worried if a Chinese firm I invest in didn't have a solid "backstage." You Americans will never understand how China works, that's why you will not make money off China.

You make completely valid points! It's not the Chinese folks operating in China that I worry about. It's the American scamsters that worry me in America. If Brian is wrong, I'll lose even more CAPS points. I won't lose any real money because I'll let Chinese snake oil salesmen make and sell their snake oil in China.

I don't care if they sell dried lettuce in gum wrappers, if the chinese will eat it, I'm in. -53.41 score on this one hurts! This stock is a roller coaster, but at a dollar a few years back this has been a ten bagger for somebody. I'm in until 15 on options activity alone.

ken, that board blog was written more than a year after you posted your negative. The company has had great earnings and has made money. Look at their current P/E which came down from 21 to 15 even while the stock stayed at the same price. Sorry buddy, you are fooling yourself.Names of companies that have nothing to do with their name:GE, apple, google, yahoo, adobe as a small example.
