TMobile deal is poison....it won't kill ATT, but this merger has problems written all over it....new phones needed for TMobile custs, different system integration, accounting, etc...sound like World Comm problems at all? Not saying ATT is frauding, but big tech deals like this make me shaky.
With all respct, you are mistaken.
The T-Mobile deal is not poison it is heaven. You're concerns about integration are at best far fetched and at worst just plain stupid. I suspect someone hasn't done they're homework. T-Mobile and AT&T''s networks tend to be almost seamless, since both carriers have utilized the same technology. You make the mistake of pretending that there will be a tech cost in order to make the networks hold hands.
On the contrary, T-Mobile customers will be able to seemlessly access the AT&T network without the need to change up their phones or make hay with their pre-paid plans. None of the doomsday scenarious will ever happen. In fact, the extensive reach of AT&T's network will allow the access of cellular phones in places that have never seen them before.
If that is a bad thing, then you are going to have to spend all kinds of time telling me how incresed access is a bad thing.
I just wont believe that.
