Bring on the economic downturn, it will just give me another opportunity to pick up inexpensive foreign companies. AU Optronics is a maker of flat-panel LCD displays and is experiencing a massive growth spurt. Revenues are growing over 60% this year and look solid for 20-25% growth next year. On an earnings basis, how does 5.8 times future earnings sound? Tons of technical support on the chart which leads me to believe this is a solid entry point. Yes...they have a lot debt, but given the increase in earnings estimates we've seen in the last few quarters Im going to overlook that. No reason this cant revisit new highs.
