AUO has earnings (a must in this environment) plus growth potential. The stock is undervalued in my opinion. It sports a low PE (4.2 trailing 4.78 forward) low PEG (forward 0.44) and a reasonable Beta (1.3). Plus they have plenty of cash.

I haven't dug into the balance sheet yet, but they also have a high book value.

It looks worthy of further investigation.
