Aurizon has inferred resources of nearly 2.5 million ounces of gold, which at today's gold price is about 2.3 billion gross value in the ground. Even if we allow for fairly high production costs of $600 per ounce, that's a potential net revenue over life of resource of $850 million. Considering their grades are comparatively god compared to many competitors, I suspect their costs will be lower, though I could find no projections on their website. With a market cap of around $600 million, I believe this one is cheap, especially when considering that gold will double from today's values. :)
I like the Northern Abitibi region of Quebec, too... I've seen lots of great ore grades there, and the provincial government even hekps to subsidize exploration activities.
