I sold this yesterday after their earnings at about a 10% gain in 7 months.
I don't see that getting over the 10% deposits threshhold will help, because short term to do that - they'll have to buy somebody else (which will drive the stock price down). And if the Fed raises rates (about 50-50 chance) look out - this will drop. I am looking to pick this up again around $50/share in the next 3 to 6 months (no I am not short, nor do I short - but if I did this would be one I'd consider).

I really think that when you examine BAC net income and look at the companies health long term this bank is the safest of any banks and i think its coming at a bargain right now. Using a variation of a DDM to come up with a value from its earnings it looks undervalued right now. The only thing that can hurt this stock is some kind of huge blow up in a portfolio that we dont know about (or any other banks for that matter). Out of all the big banks i think BAC is the most undervalued but the stock has no upward momentum. Give it time and get in at a less expensive price.

I'm a contrarian investor and all I can say is that I wish there were more people out there who feel the same way you do :)
