This is the only bank I've ever had an account with. They have every service imaginable and are masters of extracting fees from customers, particularly college students. Unless there's a run on banks, BAC outperforms.

BAC just purchased one of the most succussful credit card companies - MBNA. This should continue to increase profits for the foreseeable future.

BofA has a strong customer focused orientation and his launching a targeted array of service offering outside its traditional banking lines of business which should bode well to keep company on solid competitive footing over the near term.

once housing shakes out, a prime position player due to acquisition of MBNA. Wouldn't be surprised to see another purchase. Paird with AXP, don't see how it can miss long term although short term may be bumpy
