Looking for a bump when Geithner does something to redeem his earlier performance and it lifts BAC and C higher. Then I'll dump it before they go back down the tubes and get nationalized.

I own a good bit of this in my retirement account.

I need this to be true so I can be comfortable.
That is all. This is my "BAC won't be nationalized, everything will be okay in 2-5 years, and I won't be poor" play.

Financials will lead the charge out of this recession. The banking system is the root cause. Financials will have to outperform the S&P for the rest of the market to be pulled back up in tow.

BAC isn't particularly "sexy," and the stock isn't poised to have wild upswings in price, but it's a solid financial institution with a nice dividend. I certainly think it'll beat the market over the next five years.

All it does is go up and up and up some more. I don't know if I have seen a more consistent uptrend over the past 5 years than BAC. Throw in a good dividend and a low P/E and what is not to love.

Although I currently bank with Citibank, I think that with BoA's free trade campaign and creative incentives, they will quickly become the number one financial services institution in the US.

Low PE, excellent dividend, stock buyback, control of expenses, excellent management, and since 1989 it is becoming the Bank of America. I am a large shareholder in this stock and it has outperformed everything I have in my portfolio in the past 15 y...

BAC is the IBM of bank stocks: solid, necessary and is secure in its spot in financials. P/E is 10.84. Has great dividends; dividend reinvestment assures additional growth especially for long-term hold. Its target is higher than what i expect it w...

This stock has been unfairly punished as investors (a mix of short term traders and inexperienced others) let emotion cloud the underlying fundamentals. Almost no exposure to the sub prime mess, diversified strategic plan for growth, outstanding div...
