I'm a woman and have used Bare Escentuals since they debuted. Product is great and quite different from other stuff out there. You can even sleep in it. Recently won Glamour magazine award for best foundation. A lot of my 20 and 30 something friends are switching. Thought you boys could use the 'inside' tip ;)

Interesting, but the inside tip I get from other women is that makeup is very faddy, with something new coming along every year or so. Any thoughts on the longevity of this product, or the valuation of the stock?

True, some makeup is faddy, but that usually refers to things like lip gloss being in one year but not the next. Foundation is different. While innovations have been made (and bare escentuals had a great one), I believe this product is here to stay. The company only recently went public, but the product debuted in 1997. I have been using it for 4 years myself.

Also, Bare now offers a full line of makeup so you can expect they'll stay on top of trends. Their retail partnership with hot makeup store Sephora will keep them in touch with the market.
