Where else can you rent movies at? Netflix? Great, I have to wait for my dvds to come, than watch them, than wait for them. That whole novel thing wore off once they got rid of late fee's at Blockbuster. On demand is never current with the films that are just out. I'd rather pay the dollar and get whats NEW before I buy it, thanks. The Circuit City deal doesn't make a lot of sense at this point and time. However, if Blockbuster managed to merge with Circuit City and have the financing to rebuild or remodel Circuit City's stores, and close the ones that were under performing, you might have something here. Circuit City has been in business since 1949, there has to be a reason for this. My guess, if they manage to merge with Circuit City, they have a large foot print into the united states. Could really be interesting, and also give Best Buy something to think about. Blockbuster would indeed be different than any other electronics retailer out there.
