Watch Sotheby's and Christie's develop their web presences to expand their market beyond their current gray-haired client base. The baby boomers are now in the high-price acquisition years, and BID is the top brand name as the mover of estate goods. Where they're going with their web presence will lead this stock to double its current levels in the next couple of years.

Since 7/16/07, BID has dropped 18.3% to close at $43.15 on 7/27/07. This gives it a current PE of 19.9. SInce March 07, BID has had a price growth rate of 0.4% per week. Since I recently purchased this stock, none of these stats particularly thrill me. I have no idea why it had such a big price drop. I might add that the closing price is about 4% below the lower Bollinger trading band. What to do?? Well, I think this is a good outfit that will be around for a long, long time, so I plan to keep my stock. What should you do? If you want to buy some, just watch it awhile. Nothing I see says its about to go up again in the very near future, so I'd just watch it closely.
