I think that now, 2 years after divesting their automotive fuel cell strategy, this company can finally focus
on providing what customers want now. Back-up power for Telcom's, especially overseas, is a billion $
market and Ballard has the network built ready to sell into that market. Battery powered forklifts and cleaning
machines is also a huge replacement/upgrade market and they have a competitive product ready to go.
The day's of field trials are coming to an end and commericial orders are on the way. After 20 years, its
time to show something. This could be a nice mover higher in 2010.
This stock has been outperforming the S&P 500 for the last year and yet still no interest in this company.... yet. If ever there has been a time in the last 10 years to buy this name then now is the time. One more try here at making something of this technology. Ballard may even be profitable by 2011. Shocking but true. This is not yet reflected in the pps however.
