Key insiders own something like $443.6 million in shares (1.69% of S.O.) and management has dramatically increased book value/share over the last 10 years. Decent, growing, and well-covered 2.9% dividend, too, for this premium asset management firm which is unique in its offerings of both active and passive investment products. BLK has a global reach and privileged institutional distribution channels through which to market its equity, fixed income, and cash investment services and maintain its sticky managed assets. Highly profitable business, low debt, strong revenue growth YOY, and above-average ROE. One of the relatively new Directors has bought around $6 million in shares in August 2010. Lastly, shares of this best of breed company should be priced north of $210-215 by my valuation estimate--some think higher.
