Berkshire has the potential to plummet during the transition of managers. Even if this doesn't happen, whats the upside? a 2-3 point outdual of the S&P, you can't even lock-in that as accuracy points in CAPS. The current score leaders are going short, I'm going w/ them.

I picked this to outperform almost exactly 1 year ago, and it's outperformed by 6.6%. Not much, but there is BRK-A and BRK-B. That's 13 points plus accuracy.

I've heard that concern quite a bit. I never bought into it. Mr. Buffet has had decades to surround himself with plenty of capable managers to choose for his replacement. They may not have the same talent or wit, but they will have the same moral compass. I always valued Buffet's integrity toward shareholders far more than his knack for finding good acquisitions.

People said the same thing 2 years ago when the stock was at $85,000. I also remember hearing that argument 5 years ago when the stock was at $65,000. Now its $127,000, do you think the people that didnt buy for that same reason 5 years ago are still realistically out there waiting for the stock to drop more then 50% when Buffett dies?

Less than 2% of the All Stars pick this as an underperform. It ocassionally underperforms for short periods but this is a great long-term stock, and will continue to be even when Buffett is no longer around.
