I came across this company after looking up TDI, the company that wants to lay massive power lines down along the Hudson River from Canada to NYC/Hudson River area. While I figured this would be a good long term investment, I discovered the company is owned by the Blackstone Group. While dividend and yield seemed good, I was surprised to discover the company is losing more money per share then it is paying out. Not sure at all how this be considered a good stragedy when company is involved in long term revenue (real estate, power transmission). Maybe some good money to make with dividends immediately, but eventually losing money is going to catch up with them - and will have to drop dividend or price adjust accordingly.
