It is the largest company in the world. I think the federal governemnt is going to reward Citi for taking leadership in helping setup a fund for the credit crunch. All the bad news is figured in at this point.

How exactly is the Fed going to reward Citi? I agree that the bad news is factored into the price, but I believe C will survive because they are the largest bank in the country. They have enough in reserves to kick any crisis.

How is all the bad news factored in? The 80B in SIVs is all off balance sheet and not reported. The losses they reported were all on balance sheet losses. Get out now and don't come back until Citi is at $20/share.
