C is currently trading at 7.5 P/E while the financial industry is trading at an average of 10 while C's 5 year P/E average is over 11. Citigroup also has a PEG ratio ( price earnings over growth) of 0.6 ( a PEG ratio less than 1 is considered undervalued). Though the advancement in price may not happen tomorrow I believe in the long term and in the longterm this stock will certainly outperform.
