Canon is the name in quality in middle-end cameras. I have been a lifelong Canon customer, and I know I'm not alone. Japanese business confidence may be at an all time low, but things will change.

A company with at least ten years of strait profit selling at 11 P/E!. To good to be true. And 25 % of the balance sheet is pure cash. What is the risk? The japanese market is overly pessimist.

Canon is hangin in with the current market and continues to be a strong competitor with HP even though HP's stock is worth much more. I think they slowly start gaining this year.
