I hate CDE. They are a poor example of what to do in a metals bull (futures trading) and their stock performance vs similar competitors like SSRI, PAAS and SLW reflects it. However, at these prices its worth a gamble.

Spread between gold and silver prices is wider than normal. I see silver as more of an industrial commodity than gold and potentially in short supply. This Idaho based miner should outperform as silver price increases.

Silver is in a glut and has been for a long long time. With the rush to gold happening in such a short time, there's a good enough chance that people will start moving to silver that CDE's profits will soar over the next year.

The dollar is weakening and that means any hard asset is strengthening. This company was hit hard on the dilution of the recent merger. The morning after makes this company one of the worlds leading silver producers and huge reserves in the hopper.
