Texas has not felt the effects of the economic downturn like California, Nevada, Florida and Arizona and that is why all Texas regional banks are a great buy. CFR is well capitalized with little to no subprime exposure. Great management team and board of directors.

Texas is beginning to feel the effects of the economic downturn. Frost has succession challenges typical of an internally oriented company. Great customer relations and good corporate citizen. Capital is limited by deposit growth. Loan deliquencies are growing. Great target for hostile takeover by someone (Goldman) who needs a regional footprint in a hurry and has the flexibility to make the deal happen when the prices are low. Buy the stock now and way for the payout. when the buyer shows up.
