I really want to like this bank: they're well capitalized by any measure, they operate in an economically stable area, and they've had the free cash flow to steadily grow their dividend to a very nice yield.However... over the past three years, 75% of pre-tax income has come from service charges. This makes them more vulnerable than most to the recent federal regulation aiming to curb bank fees. If they don't find a way around this, or they can't improve their interest income margins, free cash flow and that fat dividend will dry up quickly.I suggest avoiding this stock for the next couple quarters, just to see how much earnings is affected by the new law.
