I wonder if this is a longterm asset play though. They sold Hollywood park for 250M while only decreasing book asset value by 150M.
Also, it could be a turnaround play if those slot machines ever get installed like they hope.

You're not paying attention. This company is doing more then just horse racing business. they are looking to build land-based casinos as well as get into online poker when legislation passes. Look at their acquisitions of Bluff Magazine and Card Player magazine. They have bigger plans.
