While the fundamentals tell us CHK is undervalued the sentiment is against this stock. I believe in the long haul, (3 years), CHK will be a big winner. The short term resistance, even with a brutal winner, tells me to stay away for a while.

Fully agree. Key stats very attractive (low P/E, 4 Bln CF and reasonable debt to value) but somehow bearish short term sentiment. GS downgraded stock in Jan 07.
