Analysts consensus rate CMI a "hold." So why is the CAPS community so bullish? Cummins missed its 3rd quarter earnings number (1.84 vs. 1.95 expected). Interesting that the analysts set earnings higher than the company did.

Still, I would not be long this stock. Down volume exceeds up volume for the past ten weeks which suggests the stock is in distribution and probably going lower. It found support at around $105 during the November correction, and may make a few snapback rallies back up to the 50-day moving average, but this one is headed down in the next year.
