This stock has had a very strong run-up. However, the truckers are lobbying congress right now for assistance with fuel costs. One of the major initiatives they're pushing is subsidies to help truckers install idle reduction technology, which CMI produces. Look for this one to continue to rise.

Oveiously has no clue about the trucking industry truck sales are off by over 50% ,Congress aproved and started paying subsidies as well as a 400lb over weight allowance for APU's back in 2002 available to any truck owner willing to file the paper work. If fuel prices continue to rise at the rate it is now you can look for any stock that is involved in the trucking industry to take a serious dive. although tihis stock is still a good long term bet. As is Paccar, and CAT due to good managment who understand the trucking industry up down cycles. And CAT and Detroit are especialy good long term bets due to the Heavy equipment and Oil field industries useing their engines in off road and fixed station applications Oil related sales are driving the market right now But that is also relatively short term (5 years or so) Marine aplications may pick up dramaticly When congress Starts enforceing the EPA laws for Large ships etc forceing shipping to upgrade to cleaner engine technology. And that is comeing in the next few years

Holy bejesus you can't spell. With grammar and spelling like that, I wouldn't trust a word of what you write.

Good point, but it's not just truckers (or the trucking industry) that use their products - plenty of other markets/sectors in my opinion.
