Compass Minerals is the largest salt miner in America specializing in Table Salt, De-Icing and Potash. Perhaps the least known Potash supplier, Compass Minerals stands to benefit from the recent increase on the price of sulfate of Potash. Though they had long-term contracts at lower prices, those contracts expire this year and Compass will have robust (read huge) earnings going forward. I feel that their wide array of products will remain in demand and will outperform the market handily.
