Great products at reasonable prices. I like that while Costco is a warehouse discounter, it often provides higher end merchandise (think treasure hunt, since the merchandise is in limited supply) and it attracts a nice, diverse demographic. Its bargain prices insulate it from hard economic times. I also like that Costco management focuses on building a good, solid long-term business and treats its employees very well (explaining its impressive low turnaround of workers). Great company for the long term.
Hi, you are right to consider dividends and international growth for this- currently im living in buenos aires , argentina and its one of the fastest growing markets for Marlboro. Do you know that recent studies found that female portfolios outperform both men and the market by a wide margin in several years? I would like to share some ideas because i like your dividend strategy because it seems to be the safest and surest thing to beat the market consistent with reinvestment dividends and over the long term. I would appreciate your comments.
Luis.
