The only realistic competition potential comes from Microsoft's forthcoming CRMLive. Even if that is a smash-hit, the market size is enormous (~$10B) and both vendors can have massive growth for a long time. But in reality, Microsoft never launches an application well and investors need only to monitor the headline hype that will create a near-term headwind on the name. Consistent strong quarters will be surprises to the bears until they realize that CRM is more than just an On Demand SFA app and is a vendor of business services.
