I closed my CROX position last year October to add to my POT stock. My oil and gas profits will be reinvested into this cyclical shoe and cash until this market is at a level I feel comfortable to play.Is CROX a fad? Absolutely, just like the 15 year UGG fad.Knockoffs? Plenty, but cheap enough to have Brand loyal support.Solid branding, new product lines, expensive accessories, comfort, and new international support.Between October 1-31 I will sellout of CROX again just when I need to put away my sandals, get out my winter boots, back up the oil / gas market truck to heat my home, and before I see their international shipping bill costs!!!There is too many weak handed shareholders to hold this stock annually.-Including me!My POT stock? Took profits on Valentines Day. Most kept in Cash. Some in what I will believe will be a the next shoe to make me a crazy CROX like profits http://www.skinsfootwear.com/ Skins Inc (SKNN) tickerThe biggest long term difference between CROX and SKNN ?SKNN is completely patented something I wish CROX had!

hi - what do you think of SKNN today? i dived into their paperwork and found out that they seem to have a hard time to persevere with a loss of 6mn plus in 2007 and less than 2mln cash at hand. how do you rate the odds they will survive? i live in berlin, germany, and i never saw or felt a pair of skins and bones, so it's really difficult here in old europe to get a feel for the product. -----------------btw - i bought some CROX today @ 9.93. i think the stock will recover nicely in the long run: company has no debt, is still growing, price to sales <1, current year projected p/e <7 ... my 2 year old son loves his pair already which we bought for him yesterday. ridiculously overpriced at 30 euros (>45 US$!!!) but we couldn't find any better beach shoes for him.

My post should have read "My oil and gas profits will be reinvested into this cyclical shoe and cash when this market is at a level I feel comfortable to play." I repurchased CROX again on Friday June 6 as this is a seasonal shoe. I am very concerned about their international shipping costs and will close position between September 20 and October 31. The higher international currencies could benefit CROX.SKNN - Friday June 6 rose 5% when the Dow dropped 395 points.SKNN is a very speculative play that has seen their stock price range $0.12 to $3.00Closed Friday at $0.35There is no shoe like Skins Inc. on the market and their patent protects them from future competition.Company stock price is very attractive considering they just shipped their first product out last month. The SKNN investment market is crazy when they did not have a shoe selling in stores the stock price was $3.00. Now they have a shoe selling in stores and their stock price is $0.35!SKNN has a very limited cash supply that will see them thru Fall and Winter lines only. I think they will survive because their 2 biggest selling seasons Fall and Winter and it will be the first time these shoes will be in retail stores. Hence the first time this company will make money. Please remember SKNN is a risk vs. reward please DDThe risk is highThe rewards can be highSpeculative but I own.Speaking of speculating oil and gas speculators have me taking profits even though I still think natural gas prices have a long way to go to catch up with oil. POT profits? There is a new company POTASH NORTH RESOURCE CA:pon or pon.v Opened my position on June 4 @ $1.50 June 6 it was $2.55.Good luck to all.
