I expect this to continue to underperform in the next few months (or more). Some of their big clients are in financial trouble. Over the long term I would have to admit that I'm generally bullish on Cisco. I did take my profit out of this stock sometime ago BTW.
There are some very serious technical (chart) problems related to negative divergences in various indicators in addition to this stock crashing down through the 200 day and 50 day Moving Average. In early Jan 2008 the 50 Day Moving Average crashed down through the 200 Day Moving Average which is bearish. Cisco has also crashed through its early Feb 2008 support recently (very bearish).
Bollinger bands show a strong down trend with very little regression to the mean. And I did not bother to pull out all my tools and widgets for this one...BTW...
Sonus Networks is eating criscos lunch, sons powers the att network and the iphone, HyperCube says "Sonus solution is the only proven switch to carry the high traffic anticipated" basically crisco is obsolete, SONS will have a bigger market cap then crisco, its over for crisco, its a SONS world now, sons stock will trade higher then crisco eom
