Coinstar is a financially sound company that's been around a long time and has executed fairly well. It stands to gain a lot in the coming tough times as cash-strapped Americans start dumping their old change jars into Coinstar's supermarket machines. Last time I looked, they were pulling down an 8% handling fee for that service, which sounds like a lot, but dwindles in significance as fiscal deperation and the price of gasoline rise in the U.S.
