Yeah, what, this thing just popped pretty hard behind some kind of spin-off. Look - all you need to know about CVC is that it is owned by the worst and most misbegotten family of scumbags this side of the Renaissance-era Borgias.
Ask any Knicks fan about these people. Ask any CLEVELAND INDIANS FAN (such as myself) what these people are capable of. Which is to say an MLB-record sellout streak and six playoff seasons out of seven transformed within a decade into LAST IN THE LEAGUE in attendance.
I could care less about Cablevision. I do think owning cable companies today is akin to owning newspaper companies 10 years ago. So if you're a long-term investor you'd probably want to stay out of the industry group.
But really, my purpose here is to lob a grenade at Larry Dolan, Charles Dolan, and anything named Dolan. GET THE HELL OUT OF TOWN YOU SLIMEBALLS. GIVE ME MY TEAM BACK!!!!!
