Gas is $3.45 at my local gas stations today. No brainer to be in the oil business, but it is difficult, evidently, for some to believe how heavy. 50% of your portfolio needs to be in oil stocks. Pick leaders of the different disciplines and retire early...29 was the number for me.
CVX tested the lows of 1/22 & 1/23 at $76.40 on 2/7 by reaching $76.51. This is not a coincidence. The time to take a position equitably has already passed, but it should do well from this level for some time. That's what you get when you put two oil men in the White House.
