While oil prices may be going down for the short term they will inevitably climb right back up. Also CVX is researching shale oil reserves which if successful could bolster share prices in the next several years.

Oil. 2 words whale oil. Used for energy in the 1900s. Lack of resource sent prices sky high. Then initiated innovation in energy. This will happen. Wait for the price increase

Gas is $3.45 at my local gas stations today. No brainer to be in the oil business, but it is difficult, evidently, for some to believe how heavy. 50% of your portfolio needs to be in oil stocks. Pick leaders of the different disciplines and retire ea...

I've never been a bear for anything, and I hope I'm not guilty of simple wishful thinking, but I too believe it's been a great ride and now it's time to get real.

Oil isn’t going anywhere regardless of a coming recession or not. Demand will continue to rise while no BIG finds will be had. It will be several decades before we can even begin to think of the world’s energy needs not being met by oil.

THE OIL PRICES ARE AT $110 A BARREL AND THERE IS NO END IN SIGHT FOR THE PRICE. CHEVRON HAS SUPPLY AND REFINING FACITLITIES TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE HIGH PRICES. THERE IS NO REASON THIS COMPANY SHOULD NOT GROW AT A RATE FAR EXCEEDING THE ECONOMY.

Short energy on soft landing. OPEC isn't cutting because they're overwhelmed by demand.
