America is very short-termed in its memory. We are reactive. It is unfortunate and unforgivable that some unscrupulous people have preyed upon the fiscal blindness of the general population, but then it may just be a case of the greedy taking down the poor thinking few, speaking of the sub-prime market issue. Regardless, when all is said and done, Horton has a solid family business which employees 1000's and uses 1000's of suppliers. The market will re-correct itself, we will buy more homes, and this builder will pull himself right again. Compare this value with HOV, and you will see that it has held its value in this terrible market. By 2009, if the dollar can find a footing and we have begun to train workers, and we have made use of our capital from the new exports, we will see Horton rise again. See it long term soon, and buy for a 4.7% dividend now.
