Major financial issues with regards to Churn, bad debt, and fraud. The platform is hacked and there is currently no near term solution. DISH has always gone for the bottom barrel customers and the current economic downturn is impacting that segment...

They are better than directv and less expensive, but also with this market they require people with higher credit scores to qualify than any tv company in the country

I have a farm in a rural area that has no cable - like ~50% of US. In February my antenna is usless for signal without box. Might as well get Satellite TV ....I'm thinking a lot of people will make that choice shortly.
