Doubling-down on this one. Still lots of cash going out this company's doors, and in the economy, things are going to get a lot tighter than looser. This company still enjoys (some) overblown hype on its cancer drug, as shown by the FDA's calls, but I don't think that's going to last much longer. It's still bleeding red ink and carries a HUGE debt load (D/E=445%!). Most of its numbers are negative, and negative in large double- or triple-digits. This is definitely not a company I'd ever want to invest in, except to short as I'm doing here. This stock will continue to slide back down to $4/shr or so. Who knows? At this rate, it could slide all the way into bankruptcy.

All small biotechs go into debt when getting the phase III trials, the costs to get that much data is incredible. If DNDN does slide down more look for it be bought up. It has two of those "vaccine" type drugs in the pipe and honestly the big boys are needing new things for their drug hookers to dangle infront of doctors while they get their hand jobs. It is sad how the medical profession has been put into the pocket of the drug companies, but if we can make a profit on it who cares. A secondary way DNDN will skyrocket is, the drug extends the life of dying people from 3 months to maybe 9 months, if any european country approves the drug even fast track open trials, then who cares if its available in the US. I think DNDN is a real company to invest in with real $$ not caps clicks. Unfortunatly we have to read the tea leaves and guess at when a buyout might occur or if something is in the works globaly cuz there is no info coming out of the company...Cheers and happy investing

All good points. I just have a terrible track record with biotechs, as most people probably do because they're so freaking hard to figure out. I think you might be right about a buyout if it drops much lower (certainly if it goes below $3/share). But DNDN has been falling for awhile now and there appears (to me) to be changing any time soon. If you invest any real money in this stock, I would do so with extreme caution, putting only a small amount in it, an amount you're totally prepared to throw into the fireplace and light with a match. Good luck, though, seriously. We need better, cheaper drugs.
