People are wrongly punishing the stock. The reason I suspect people are moving to "Cans" instead of 2-Liters is in large part due to the Dr. Pepper Collector's Edition Cans with REAL ACTUAL SUGAR instead of the FAKE STUFF you get in the 2-liters.
What I would do if I was C.E.O. is I would switch out the fake sugar in the 2-liters for actual sugar. Put up a nice new Label on Dr. Pepper 2-Liters advertising that hence forth Dr. Pepper uses all natural ingredients....like real sugar....
And... I would jack up slightly the price on 12 Cans of Dr. Pepper to motivate people to switch to 2-liter.
I fear the Collector's Edition 12 Can Dr. Pepper business is going to make people come to the conclusion that hence forth I should just buy the Cans cause I am saving a bundle with Cans versus 2-liter. The Cans are waaaaay too good a bargen.
