everyone knows that the technology we are currently using in every pc comes from the military, and private companies. Bill gates bought the windows program from ibm because they felt it wouldnt go anywhere. Where are we now? The internet was called the antranet when just the military was using it since the early 60's and 70's. Digital computers were used for the military for decades before the technology was released for public use. Not many people know that the word Modem is actually a Acronym.
