Please tell me you're trying to make some kind of a joke. 100% Ethanol within 18 months? That's impossible.

Um, I believe you mean "That's unpossible". Spelling errors aside, your commentary leaves something to be desired. What exactly makes you think that the US cannot ditch oil and switch over to ethanol within the next two years? The gas station that I work at has E85, which if I'm calculating correctly means we only need 15% more to get to 100%.

Yeah...and yo wonder why your rating is so low. Based on our oil consumption, you would have to drain the oceans and plant corn there and also plant corn all over Russia and then possibly we could go 100% ethanol. Ethanol is a big political scandal.............ethanol cannot be piped or shipped easily because it destroys the ships and pipelines, so it must be trucked. The trucks that carry the EtOH and the machine that harvest the corn all use diesel (an oil product), so are we really saving oil? Also, EtOH is a less efficient fuel than gasoline, so even though you might have less harmful emissions from burning one gallon of EtOH gas, you end up having to use more gasoline to get the same distance. Kind of a catch 22. You are better of investing in Coal to Liquid technology. We have the world's largest stockpile of coal in the Unied States.

Also....realize not only is this guy's score low.....he also works at a gas station. Maybe he needs his oil changed? He is also saying impossible is not a word and that unpossible is????? He must be from Arkansas or Mississippi.

Stupid people are everywhere. And like inability to spell, inability to pick up on a joke might be considered a sign of mental deficiency.
