Sector Play - The utility sector is out of favor as a result of rising Inflation. Regulated prices make it hard on utilities to pass through rising costs to customers.

True - but growth alone will still increase revenue & profit. This is a long-term play where one should dollar cost avg in small amounts.
Disclosure: this guy has no picks
Duke's Debt to Equity looks high at 1.47, receivables are taking 46 days to collect and if I am looking at the numbers correctly, their free cash flow is currently at a -28%. Those numbers alone don't bode well for a business in my opinion.
I'm a current holder but worry that current earnings provide little cushion for dividend-- and that Duke burns a lot of coal. Duke's earnings haven't held up in the downturn as well as say, EXC's. Am considering a trade into BP, same yield percentage but inflation protection bc oil and nat gas prices would likely hang there thru inflation.
